Six Feet Under -- Tampa, FL -- July 15th, 2011
Six Feet Under played their first U.S. show with new guitarist Rob Arnold, bassist Matt DeVries and drummer Kevin Talley with a Summer Slaughter warmup gig in Tampa! The band sounded pretty good and Chris' vocals sounded as brutal as ever. Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse was also in the crowd during the show. This not a full list of the songs but I remembered a very good number of them.

Not a bad setlist at all. However, I wish they wouldn't play Cannibal Corpse songs. Yes, I realize Chris was part of the band back then and wrote the lyrics to these tunes, but I just don't agree with it.

Apparently Chris Barnes is trying to entertain some kind of fantasy that Six Feet Under is the direction that Cannibal took after The Bleeding, in some alternate universe inside his head.

I'm very surprised that SFU didn't play anything off of "Commandment". I would've loved to see "Thou Shall Kill", "Ghosts of the Undead", or "The Evil Eye".
