Paul McCartney -- Bronx, NY -- July 16th, 2011
Sir Paul McCartney, at Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY, USA on July 16, 2011
I don’t care what anyone thinks, he is a fucking Beatle! And it was surreal to see him again, and hear those songs, sung in his voice. He played Bass, Electric guitar, Acoustic guitar, mandolin, or Piano on every song. He is a rock god and absolute legend in every sense of the word and many of their later songs paved the way for the early Metal artists, who were ALL influenced by the Beatles. An unbelieveable night, 2 1/2 hours of classics! 1. Magical Mystery Tour (The Beatles) 2. Jet (Wings) 3. All My Loving (The Beatles) 4. Junior's Farm (Paul McCartney & Wings) 5. Drive My Car (The Beatles) 6. Sing the Changes (The Fireman) 7. The Night Before (The Beatles) 8. Let Me Roll It (Wings) Foxy Lady riff(short Jimi tribute/ no vocals) 9. Paperback Writer (The Beatles) 10. The Long and Winding Road (The Beatles) 11. Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five (Wings) 12. Let 'Em In (Wings ) 13. Maybe I'm Amazed 14. I've Just Seen a Face (The Beatles ) 15. I Will (The Beatles) 16. Blackbird (The Beatles) 17. Here Today 18. Dance Tonight 19. Mrs Vandebilt (Wings) 20. Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles) 21. Something (The Beatles) 22. Band on the Run (Wings) 23. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (The Beatles) 24. Back in the U.S.S.R. (The Beatles) 25. I've Got a Feeling (The Beatles) 26. A Day in the Life / Give Peace A Chance (The Beatles/Lennon) 27. Let It Be (The Beatles) 28. Live and Let Die (Paul McCartney & Wings) 29. Hey Jude (The Beatles) Encore set 1: 30. Lady Madonna (The Beatles) 31. I Saw Her Standing There (The Beatles) w/Billy Joel on Piano! 32. Get Back (The Beatles) Encore set 2: 33. Yesterday (The Beatles) 34. Helter Skelter (The Beatles) 35. Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End (The Beatles) 7/27 Mayhem Fest 8/1 Appice Drum Wars! 8/21 Lynyrd Skynyrd ![]() 8/23 Whitesnake/Tesla/Seb. Bach/Lita/Firehouse 8/24 Journey/Foreigner/Night Ranger! 9/9 Arch Enemy 9/14 Big Fucking 4

I realize that Beatles songs average about 2 minutes, but a 35 song set is still pretty impressive.

Needs way more from McCartney and McCartney II. I figured this tour was to support those re-releases, but maybe not.

Damn. Come on he couldn't have pulled 40 out at all? LOL. Dear god half of his stage must have been his setlist. Probably went from drumset to end of the stage. I despise any and all things about the Beetles but 35 is amazing for anybody.
