Currently in my second month of a food elimination diet in an effort to cure the chronic eczema I've been suffering through for the last few years. I can't eat wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, corn or peanuts. Thankfully I can still eat a big juicy steak, which is what I just had with a side of roasted veggies. Going out to eat is almost completely out of the question. It's insane how much dairy and soy is in almost EVERYTHING at any restaurant, ever. Oh, the only other thing keeping me sane through this is... see the 'Now Drinking' thread.

Yeah, I've had it in some capacity since I was born, too. When I was very young, my parents found that ripping all the carpet out of their house and replacing it with hardwood helped immensely. Also, any kind of processed food, if it's allergy-related is a good thing to avoid.

I doubt anyone could sell my sister on the hardwood floors. She's overly protective of her two boys and would be terrified of them busting their heads, especially since it's a two-story house with a balcony type thing overlooking the front room. I'll mention it to her though.

I don't think they eat hardly any processed food, she always buys organic stuff and whatever is supposed to be really healthy.

A couple of hours ago, I had my typical weekday lunch at work - a salad consisting of romaine and mixed greens, shredded mozzarella, diced ham, hard-boiled eggs, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries and raspberry vinaigrette dressing.

Mid-afternoon snack is next - a cup of Dannon Light & Fit yogurt (I think it's cherry today) with some low-fat granola. Maybe an apple. I like Honeycrisps, but I think I have a Jonagold today. They're not as sweet and juicy, but they're generally much bigger, so...
