High On Fire (w/ Snoop Dogg) - August 11th, The Catalyst - Santa Cruz CA
If anybody from SFO is heading down to this, is it possible you could give me a ride? I'd really appreciate it, I want to see these guys badly and I won a ticket from The Catalyst site, don't want that to go to waste.

There are actually 2 different venues in the building, High on Fire is playing the smaller one for 15 bucks and Snoop is playing the bigger one for about 60, I think it's going on at the same time.
I'm out of town for that one but I might go to the one in Oakland a few weeks later.

Out of disbelief I went to the venues website. It's listed as two different shows but they are occurring at the same exact time. I am very confused.

You're coming to my neck of the woods.
I almost guarantee they are not both all ages, just so you know. The Atrium is usually 21+ since its a bar, unless its a special "16+" show, which I've seen a few times. I can't imagine High on Fire is that small though, it's like, a fucking room, no barrier or anything. The main Catalyst is also 21+ 90% of the time, but thats definitely an actual stage. Also, they are separated by multiple doors and a hallway, so you'd be going to one not like, in and out (at least I'm guessing.) They are run by the same people and you walk through the same entrance initially, but they are basically two different venues.
