I don't know why Anvil opened up for this band. Yes, it is managed by Wendy Dio but it is not Dio. It's a cover band. Why a thirty-three year old band opens for a cover band that is a couple of months old is beyond me.

Easy. It's because Anvil have no fans and no success and are little more than an opener in most countries. They didn't do it for the whole tour though, only a couple of dates. The Rods did the whole tour.

I agree with what ravenheart said. Nobody knew these guys before the documentary. I bet that Dio's Disciples have already drawn more people to their shows than Anvil has their entire career.

That's why they're opening.
