I know, I've re-kindled a lot of memories lately with this. It's been the show-opener for both Slipknot gigs I've attended this week, and it's fucking awesome to headbang to after so many years of listens.

I love full albums as much as the rest of you, but c'mon, most albums aren't consistently great all the way through. There's gotta be at least one song that stands out among the pack.

For me, that song is The Black Dahlia Murder's "Moonlight Equilibrium" don't hate me...

I have seen nothing but complete self-pleasuring for BDM on this site, man. Why apologize?

To me, it's less that every single song on the album is good, it's that I demand each song to be in context with the rest of the band's material. For some reason, I don't feel right if I listen to song 2 before listening to song 1, etc.

As for me...
I pretty much spin either Dopethrone or Holy Mountain once every day

God is an Astronaut - Everything
Alcest - Écailles De Lune
Altar of Plagues - Mammal
Anaal Nathrakh - Passion
Moonlit Sailor - Colors in Stereo (seriously can't stop listening to this)

Flattening of Emotions. Ever since I got my Human Reissue the other day I can't stop listening to this song. It has one of the most headbang-able riffs ever.
