This. I haven't been interested in IE at all since Horror Show, but that guy's got some killer fucking pipes. Dude can wail, it's a shame.

The album title makes me believe its going to have political undertones. The wrong kind.

I hope he doesn't turn IE into that. I thought that's what Jon had Sons Of Liberty for?

Jon might write a few political songs with Iced Earth but I think the majority of the politics will stay in Sons Of Liberty. I think a political album would sound better if he were to do one with Iced Earth. Iced Earth with political lyrics and Stu Blocks vocals would be one great album. I'm looking forward to this album regardless of the lyrics he writes. I want to hear how Stu Block sounds with them, it will be interesting here how Stu pulls off the other Iced Earth material. He's a good vocalist so it shouldn't be a problem.

If he lives here and believes there is a problem then yes.

Jon needs Iced Earth stick with the darker song topics that he's always written about. If he turns them into another version of SOL he risks losing a lot of fans, even more than the frequent changing of singers probably does.

In music, is there a right kind?

I don't think he'll turn them into SOL, but Jon does go political Im sure he won't have a probably combining it with Iced Earths dark theme. If they do lose fans it probably won't be many, alot of people love metal bands with political lyrics whether they agree or disagree with them.

Political bullshit will just be another reason for me to not like this. It's not off to a great start being that I really didn't care for their last record and I hate Stu Block in Into Eternity. This is one of those bands that as the years pass I start to wonder more and more how I ever liked them as much as I used to.
