The Last Felony -- Rouyn-Noranada, Quebec -- June 24th, 2011
Part of the Abitibi Survival fest. Other bands were Korpius, President, Impalement, Karkaos and Jus de Planète. Great bands but very few people.

what are The Last Felony like? Who do they sound like? Last fm keeps suggesting them to me to listen but I haven't got around to it...

They're a really good tech death band from Montreal. They have a very dark (a bit influenced by black metal) sound, yet very modern and aggressive. They also have breakdowns in some songs, but they don't break the dark atmosphere, they're well integrated.
Listen to this song. Also, 'Quandary' for their slower, darker side and 'We Are Future...' for their more technical side. Hope you like it!

Awesome lineup, but unfortunately, it's too far from where I live. We have some great metal festivals in Québec.

They're a very good death metal band. They have SOME tech death aspects, but I consider them more brutal death. Thier first album had some deathcore aspects, but they seemingly completely did away with those w/ their newest album. Definately check them out.
