Loudness -- Seattle, WA -- May 8th, 2011

A blast from the past. Prior to tonight, the one and only time I ever saw Loudness live was opening for Crue on the "Theatre of Pain" tour. 25+ years ago, are you shitting me?

This was the setlist posted on the stage. Pretty sure they stuck to it:

01. Fire of Spirit
02. Hit the Rails
03. Crazy Nights
04. Heavy Chains
05. In the Mirror
06. Never Change Your Mind
07. Shadows of War
08. Get Away
09. Black Star Oblivion
10. The King of Pain
11. Crazy Doctor
-------------------------
12. Let It Go
13. S.D.I.

They played for about 80 minutes. The crowd was small (100 - 150) but appreciative. I enjoyed it - if you have ever liked any Loudness material, I think you will enjoy the show. If they come to your town, give them a chance...

Kick ass! I am going in NYC on 6/1. Can't wait. Much more of an "old school" set than when they were here 5 years ago!

Heavy Chains!! Get Away!! Black Star Oblivion!!! SHADOWS OF WAR!!!

Nice, I am extremely intrigued.
I missed them last time they toured here, like 5 years ago or whenever.

I never did see them back in the day.

Here in Chicago, when I saw CRUE on the TOP tour, AUTOGRAPH opened.

Anyhow, I may consider, even though I was never a huge fan.

I'm so psyched for this show on Thursday. That setlist is pretty good too. Get Away and Black Star Oblivion? Heck yeah!

What was the merch like?

I wanted to go to this, but band practice got out late and I was hung over from the night before. >___<

Pretty sparse. One shirt, no cd's, stickers, patches, etc.

The shirt is a tour shirt (logo front/dates back) and goes for $20.

Oh, they also had the Takasaki Shredneck for $60.
