Deftones -- Toronto, Ontario -- May 3rd, 2011
Dillinger Escape Plan
Farewell, Mona Lisa Milk Lizard Mouth of Ghosts Crystal Morning Panasonic Youth Gold Teeth on a Bum Black Bubblegum 43% Burnt Sunshine the Werewolf Deftones Diamond Eyes Rocket Skates Birthmark Engine No 9 Be Quiet And Drive(Far Away) My Own Summer(Shove It) Digital Bath Knife Party Korea Hexagram Minerva Bloody Cape You've Seen the Butcher Sextape Cherry Waves Feiticeira Elite Change(In the House of Flies) Passenger(w/Greg Puciato) Back to School(Mini Maggit) --------------------------- Root 7 Words One of the best shows I've been to in a while, Dillinger killed it, not many ppl knew who they were, which I expected from a Deftones crowd, but they impressed, as they should. Deftones were amazing, first time seeing them, such an incredible experience, I think everyone should see them at least once, whether you're that into them or not, they're spot on live, and a lot of fun. Bit of a different setlist than the others, I was very pleased that they played Cherry Waves, they said they hadn't played it in about 3 years, and I LOVE that song. Some of them I didn't quite recognize right off, but I'm familiar with most of them so forgive me if I left something out.

I was there last night and it was a fantastic show, although I really really really hate the Sound Academy. Unfortunately the majority of bands I like are playing there these days, so I guess i'll have to keep putting up with it if I want to see my favourite bands live. |

Thanks man, I knew I would do that lol Again, not knowing everything well prob made me forget where they were in the set, figured it was the same as the others, and yeah it got sorta cramped in there, but for most shows its not bad, its big and you can be away from the pitters. Most I go to are at Opera House or Wreck Room so I'm not there much either, last time I was there was prob Summer Slaughter a few years ago

I've seen some sets where they've played CMND/CTRL and some where they haven't.....I know they didn't play it at the Detroit show though.

CMND/CTRL would have been awesome, but it's a pretty recognizable sounding song that it'd be hard to miss it. I was hoping they'd play more stuff off of Diamond Eyes. When I saw them in September on BlackDiamondSkye they played 6 songs off that album, so I thought we'd be getting a couple other songs other than the 4 they played. Same with Around the Fur. Then again we wouldn't have gotten 8 songs off of White Pony so it's all good.
Also, that's not my pic (though i'm not sure if you were implying that it was), I just grabbed it off of setlist.fm |
