The cover artwork looks a lot like something Mastodon would use, which means it's awesome.

I've never really been into this band but I think this new album is going to help get me into them because that new song is awesome.

No, I've kinda avoided listening to any of their albums because they're scene-kid friendly, and I never really liked the little samples I heard from them either.

They aren't that scene-kid friendly. I mean music wise they arent. Only reason they are is cause of the name and their artwork.
