I believe that was done intentionally.

Original: Saxon - Princess of the Night
Ripoff: Metallica - Seek and Destroy

Original: David Bowie - Any Warhol
Ripoff: Metallica - Master of Puppets

Original: Disturbed - Mistress
Ripoff: H.I.M. - The Kiss of Dawn

Original: The Wildhearts - Vanilla Radio
Ripoff: Devin Townsend - Resolve!
(Intentional, though)

Original: Rainbow - Street of Dreams
Ripoff: Symphony X - The Odyssey (Champion of Ithaca)

All I could think of, at the moment.

...Did anyone else notice that the palm muted section (before the verses) of Black Flag's "Nothing Left Inside" sounds a lot like Down's "Bury Me in Smoke"?
