For some reason Cauldron did not make it. I don't know the specifics but when I arrived the bill had been modified to only one opening band. I was kind of disappointed since I 've heard good things about Cauldron.

I saw this tour last Saturday in Oakland. It was pretty fricken sweet. Cauldron probably didn't make it because their van broke down on the way up to Oakland. Somehow they made it here an hour before they went on, but throughout the set they asked if anyone could hook them up with motor oil. I'm guessing their transportation didn't work out with Portland.

I was right standing next to the stage right in front of Alex. He was excellent. HG was a tight unit and he fit right in.

Wow, bad luck. I assume they'll make it to Seattle. Guess I'll have to look for them next time they hit PDX.
