Red Dead Redemption's score is pretty great. And I love how when you finally get to Mexico after 20ish hours of gameplay you hear vocals for the first time.

Oh yeah, I really enjoyed the soundtrack to that. I should finish that game sometime... I haven't touched it since last July and I'm still off in Mexico somewhere...

some of the first CDs i bought when i was young were soundtracks. that said, i only own two, ocarina of time and final fantasy 6. i give more credit to video game scores for piquing my interest in music than the radio or tv.

The fact that no one on Metal Setlists has said Guilty Gear XX alarms me.

Chrono Cross was one of my favorites. Some others would include Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and God of War. I'm sure I'm missing a few though

I've been listening to a lot of the ambient music from Skyrim the last few weeks. It takes me back to playing the game and makes me forget how frustrated I was when I stopped playing it. Under an Ancient Sun is haunting.

Chrono Trigger soundtrack is pretty awesome.

My picks go to Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Mega Man 2.

Phantom Dust had some pretty dark, haunting songs too.
