Queens of the Stone Age -- Oakland, CA -- April 11th, 2011

The s/t part of the set was kinda cool, but kinda dragged on a little and took the element of surprise out of most of the set.
Also kinda weird that Josh was the only member on the album and following tour, so the chemistry with the music wasn't really there until they broke into the later material.
I'm hoping that they do something like this for Songs for the Deaf, because the last two songs were definitely the best, Song for the Dead was one of the best closers I've ever heard.

Regular John
Avon
If Only
Walkin' on the Sidewalks
You Would Know
How to Handle a Rope
Mexicola
Hispanic Impressions
The Bronze
Give the Mule What He Wants
I Was a Teenage Hand Model
You Can't Quit Me Baby

Monsters in the Parasol
Burn the Witch
Make It Wit Chu
Little Sister

Better Living Through Chemistry
Go With the Flow
A Song for the Dead

Also: Matt Pike was present, as usual.

We got No One Knows and Song For The Dead to close our show. It was awesome.

I was pretty pleased they played Better Living Through Chemistry. I just wish Josh's vocals were a bit louder.

I wore my Kyuss shirt and tried to pull it off and hold it up when he asked "what do you wanna hear?" just to be a smart ass, but I was too sweaty
