They need to just sit in their houses and write. They seem to get in trouble (IE - get drunk, fight, go into comas) when they go outside.

Might as well just live in a bubble if you can't get drunk, fight or go into comas. LET ME LIVE MY LIFE, YOU'RE THE WORST PARENTS EVER.

I'm glad to hear it's coming along, that said, it's gonna be quite a while til we hear anything.

I would love that so much.

Dailor: It doesn't seem as proggy. There's moments, but it seems more riff-oriented. It seems a little more stripped down. [2004's] "Leviathan" was a little more stripped down, and it feels like that to me. Everything always changes once you go in the studio, but at the moment it seems like a really super-heavy LED ZEPPELIN or something. It has a lot of that [John] Bonham-esque groove to it, but really heavy and dark. I really like playing like that, and when it goes into those parts, I'm psyched

What caught my eye from the interview, CANT WAIT.

I'm really stoked for this release. Admittedly I prefer their later works, so hopefully not too much of that vibe is sacrificed. FUCKING MASTODONS.

To be honest, I think a lot of people want that (including myself). I liked Blood Mountain and Crack The Skye, but it's time to go back.

Yeah they've been getting less heavy and more proggy for every release, I'd like to hear them move back a little bit now that they're more musically mature.

Let Mastodon be Mastodon.

Give me shit all you want, Crack The Skye is their best album. There I said it!

I wouldn't mind if they got heavier like Leviathan but keep the vocal styles of Crack The Skye, to me that would be perfection.
