Miss May I -- Indianapolis, IN -- April 8th, 2011

Went to this show to hang out with my bros in MMI. Emmure headlined and sucked; Evergreen Terrace opened and were pretty badass. Everyone was really nice from all the bands though, got some real insights into what it takes to be a smaller touring musician and I can definitely say I don't have it in me. Mad props to the dudes who make it happen. MMI played:

Masses of a Dying Breed
Architect
Monument
Forgive and Forget
Our Kings
Relentless Chaos

Short set but they were really good. To see 500 kids singing along with a dude who I used to go eat at the Chinese buffet with and kicked it in the back of Spanish class when we were 15 was fucking surreal. I'd say if you dig their style of music you should definitely see them live.

And I'm getting guestlisted for Warped too, so guess who's seeing Lionize for a third time?

Damn! That's awesome that you knowthe band like that! Although I absolutely hate their name, MMI is one of the better scene metalcore bands, an one of the few I really like to listen to.

Nobody because there is none yet.

I'm just gonna text Levi a couple days before the tour stop.

Does Warped work like there's different stages with bands playing at the same time? I'm gonna be pissed if Lionize and Miss May I's sets overlap since there's no one else at the whole damn festival I want to see.

I hate their band name too.

I think if they cut the clean vocals I might actually like them a good amount. When this pansy shit inevitably gets unpopular they should have no problem adapting and playing a little bit heavier melodic metalcore and continuing to tour.

They really work a crowd, man. And they're touring machines, they do literally like 250 dates a year, so I'm sure you can see them every few months.

Warped has has in the range of 6-8 stages, there is a shot Lionize and Miss May I could overlap, but they might end up on the same side stage you should have no problem being able to see them (hopefully)
