Hmm, other than signed stuff, what's counts as rare?

I've got a ton of out of print stuff. Mostly CD singles. Not sure any of them are seriously rare.

I guess just post anything you consider a prized possession. I'd consider it rare if it goes for alot of money on ebay.

I have a bunch of out-of-print 7"s, but the only other thing I have that's considered "rare" is my Eddie's Archive 1st edition, but it's opened, so it's not as valuable.

I'd consider it over-priced opportunism if it goes for alot of money on ebay...

I have five or six Metallica bootleg CD's, some of which are supposedly rare (and by "rare" I mean a very limited number of copies were made)... like I said... supposedly.

Jason's Second Gig CD, recorded live in Anaheim, CA on November 9, 1986
Totally Destroy Canada CD, recorded live in Ontario, Canada on April 14, 1992
Escape From the Park CD, recorded live in Donington Park, England sometime in 1995
Thrashing Thru Europe CD, recorded live at one of their shows in 1984
Dickrash CD, recorded live in Tokyo on May 13, 1989 and London on October 10, 1999

I've also got some rare tour posters. They're all German. Metallica in '86, Motorhead in 1990, Deep Purple sometime in the 1990's, Judas Priest in '86, and Iron Maiden in '86... that's where all the value in my music memorabilia lies. When I get back home on Friday I might put up some pics.

The nature of a lot of the music I buy makes it OOP in a matter of months...so lots of it is "rare." Off the top of my head:
Nunslaughter- Black: (limited to 100 copies, cover hand assembled by Don of the Dead from ripped up bible pages)
Bastardator/Children of Technology split: limited to 100 copies BUT actually 25 copies because it was the Bastardator bandanna version, as opposed to the CoT bandanna or the pin versions.
GWAR- America Must Be Destroyed (alternate cover): The limited variant of a record that had a small pressing to begin with (my guess is 4-5,000), out of print since 1993
Carcass- Reek of Putrefaction Pic disc: limited to 200 copies
Ghoul- Splatterthrash: BLACK vinyl, limited to >100 copies
Goatpenis- Mission Directive: Total Extermination: Black vinyl, limited to 30 copies

I'm sure I have some other noteworthy stuff..Later I might post all the diehard and shit that came out in the last few years even though they are worth probably 3x the amount I bought them for. One odd thing that might be more valuable than a lot of this stuff is the original artwork to an MDC 12", I don't think it was used though but someone who knows the band better than I do might know, I'll photograph it later.

Besides signed things:

I have a copy of Boris with Merzbow - Rock Dream which apparently there was only a few thousand copies made.

Promo copies of Enthroned - Tetra Karcist and Sodom - Sodom.

I dunno how rare it is, but I have an original 2xLP copy of Iron Maiden's Live After Death.

I'm not sure how rare it is but I have original copies of Kill em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets on vinyl. I also have Into the Unknown by Bad Religion on vinyl. I also have a few original old country records on vinyl - Webb Pierce - Wondering Boy, Johnny Cash - Orange Blossom Special

I have that too. I have a shit ton of LP's, but I'd be surprised if any of them are worth more than $40 or $50.
