Blackened death metal has a specific sound which is much different than that of straight-up death metal. You can't just call a black metal band blackened death metal because they have black metal-esque lyrics.

Deicide is a Death Metal band, there is nothing black metal about them, singing about Satan does not make you black metal, etc. etc.
