Absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

Great crowd at Nottingham. I think very nearly sold out
Fury UK were superb. Really high energy and great songs. Wolfsbane have never been one of my favourite bands but they did put on a pretty good show. Blaze got the crowd going.

As for Saxon, unless I've miscounted, that was my 31st time seeing them live and they never fail to amaze me. In fact they seem to get better. Very brave to start off with two new songs but it worked. 2hrs plus, VERY loud and very hot. BRILLIANT

That's a pretty boring Saxon set. I won't be busting a gut to see them at Sweden Rock. Only if there's nothing else to do when they're on.

They do always give their money's worth at their headlining shows though. Every time I've seen them they do a minimum of 2 hours. I just wish they'd drop a few more of the same old songs and play something different. Whenever they do change songs, they just bring in the ones they dropped last time. Certain songs are played every year, the others are on a two year cycle and the rest get completely ignored.

I agree, Saxon's setlists are getting way too repetitive. Always the same old songs. I'd rather hear Rock The Nations, Rock N Roll Gypsy or Rockin' Again than say And The Bands Played On or Denim & Leather for the 20th time.

It was great they brought back songs like Ride Like The Wind and Back On The Streets on the last tour but they have to do better than that.

Someone has just reminded me that at Sweden Rock Saxon will play the entire Denim And Leather album.

So drop any song in the above setlist that's at all interesting and replace it with something boring off Denim And Leather.

I really hope they clash with Accept or Queensryche (although something tells me they'll actually clash with Morbid Angel).
