The main thing good about this is it's the biggest metal festival here in the USA I've ever seen. Hopefully this is a start towards more of these, but with better acts.

this has improved majorly since the first couple years(when the headliners were Kid Rock and Three Doors Down)

they have managed to throw some great bands randomly in amongst more commercial acts(and one of the most fun shows Ive ever been to, despite the occasional run ins with human trash)

I swear the city of Columbus brings in all these shitty bands in order to make up for having almost no good metal shows throughout the rest of the year. In high school, I had to drive 90 miles from my house to Newport Music Hall to see bands like Mastodon and In Flames. Now that I can SEE Newport from my dorm room window, there aren't any good shows. I've seen All That Remains and Tim & Eric. Nothing else comes through. "It's fuckin' bullshit."
