I'm seeing them in may and if this is their set I'll be severely disappointed.

This is the set I say back on Halloween accept in a different order and minus I Voyager, And The Maiden Spoke, and Taste Revenge (Sanctuary cover)

i think they are switching off on headlining since its a "co-headline" but idc since Symphony should be headlining in the US!!! and meh thats a very lame Nevermore set imo but i'll take it for a first time. Really want something off of DNB and Politics. They should drop Heart Collector and Emptiness Unobscured.

As far as I know Symphony are headlining in the States. The initial dates were announced with them as top billing before Nevermore or Soilwork were even announced. Either way, I can't wait to see the two of them together next month. Symphony and Nevermore are two of the best live bands I've seen.

But I would hope Nevermore changes the set just a wee bit when the tour comes here, as those are the same songs they did on their headlining tour, just in a different order.

Did Jim Sheppard play? If not, who filled in? He is a really great bassist! Nevermore tends to play the same songs over and over. Too bad they have such a kick ass catalog!!

I definitely prefer End of Innocence over this one. Idk its something about the chorus that bugs me.

The verses definitely have that whole wannabe Pantera vibe to them that a lot of Paradise Lost sadly had - so that much I really don't care for. But the "prechorus" I guess you would call it, I love. The bridge section I also love, and that guitar solo sounds absolutely fantastic. But Yeah, I prefer End of Innocence. Expectations are still pretty high though.

No, Jim didn't play. He just had a brain tumor removed less than a month ago so I don't see how he comes back before this tour's over. A female bassist named Dagna Barrera is taking his place.

When I see them here next month it's just them. I'm not sure if it's an off date from the Symphony X tour or if it's just a show they're doing before the US tour with them starts. I would be happy with this set plus a couple others since this will be my first time seeing them headline.
