Kataklysm -- St. Paul, MN -- Febuary 27th, 2011

A Soulless God
Like Angels Weeping the Dark
Ambassador Of Pain
Years Of Enlightment / Decades In Darkness
Shadows and Dust
As I Slithe
At The Edge Of The World
Crippled And Broken
Push The Venom

I haven't posted on here in a while but holy fuck, not only did I get to hang out with Stéphane, Max and Maurizio for a majority of the night! It was really fuckin cool! Nice guys. The Sound was devastation and brutal. They were around filming the entire thing, the entire set was filmed for the DVD coming out next year! SO if you see a man with a camera go fuckin mad!

I am surprised that they only played 12 songs.

Debating on whether or not to go to this. Kataklysm's stuff after Serenity in Fire is kinda hit or miss, but I bet they're fun live. All Shall Perish are one of the better deathcore acts out there, though I'm not sure what kind of pit they would attract. I've seen Decrepit Birth 3 times already, and they never disappoint. I'm not familiar with Conducting From the Grave's material, so I wouldn't know what to expect. Abysmal Dawn would be pretty cool, their new album was pretty sick.

Unfortunately I had to skip this show. Pretty pissed, but then again Decrepit Birth wasn't gonna play, and they were the main reason I wanted to go. Glad it sounded fun, hopefully we can get some good Youtube vids up of this to look at

Their set last year when they opened for Kreator was much better than this...

Still probably would have gone to this if Decrepit Birth was on my date, but this Kataklysm set isn't enough by itself to get me to go.

12 songs as the headliner? BS

And when DB comes back on tour, they'll probably get less.

08/30: Bane and tour (?)
10/15: Soilwork, Decapitated (?)
