Out from the lab, no need for rehab. If I can't drive then call me a cab.

Not a fan of the band or their music, but I will say that I wish him a speedy recovery. No one should ever have to suffer from Brain Tumors(Benign or Malignant). I've had close friends and family members die because of brain tumors, so I know first hand how bad those mother fuckers are.

Which leads me to my next question....is their up coming headlining tour and upcoming gigs with Sepultura cancelled now?...or are they still going to go on with the upcoming tour? A bass player can easily be replaced....unless your name is Steve DiGiorgio or Tom Araya

"Sheppard in 2006 missed a number of NEVERMORE shows after undergoing a minor procedure for Crohn's Disease, a condition he's managed for nearly 20 years. Filling in for Sheppard was longtime friend James MacDonough (ex-MEGADETH, ICED EARTH)."

He's been replaced before so I guess thats what they're doing.

He was also replaced on the 70,000 tons of metal cruise. I guess complications with the brain tumor and or chrohns disease prevented him from playing.

Whoa...Steve Harris?
Steve DiGiorgio is replaceable, see Autopsy. Tom Araya's bass playing isn't at all impressive, the only thing that makes him not able to be replaced is his vocals (which aren't even good anymore.)
There are a handful of bands these days that 100% need their current bassist, like Enforcer, I don't care about Nevermore so I'm not sure if that's the case.

I wasn't referring to his work with Autopsy, I was referring to him being irreplaceable in his band Sadus. No one can take away his spot, end of story compadre

That makes his irreplaceable as a singer, not a bassist. They could easily replace his bass playing with someone like Danny Lilker.
