And yes, Black Veil Brides are incredibly popular. I remember when they were just a local band around here, but they exploded last year.

I didn't think they were anything here at all. I sent a message to a buddy of mine during the show saying "er, when did Black Veil Brides get popular", he said he had no idea who they were but apparently they had a top 40 album in the US last year. I knew they had to be popular with scene kids and not actual metal fans, else I'd have heard of them.

Plus, the loudest crowds at metal shows are always for scene bands. Fact.

Incidentally, Murderdolls are a great live band, but Wednesday keeps all the best songs for himself (apart from the 20 odd he let them cover). These are also facts.

I think they're more popular among the younger teenagers (or "tweens") versus scene kids, but they definitely have quite a following. I'm not sure why they are touring with Murderdolls though, I would think their fan bases are a lot different.

Women and Children Last is their best record and its first Murderdolls record so first one was like a blueprint like Joey has stated before. but yeah Women and Children Last is their best record so far. they both wrote the songs and they both found so mnany riffs and sounds etc... they still recreate a great record.

other BVB are just bullshit band, they got popluar on that van warped tour
and supporting some other sence bands.

Too bad theres no Grave Robbing USA, either way pretty kickass set.
Damn I wanna see them live. I almost saw Wednesday live when they were touring for Skeletons..but the fucker cancelled our show. Honestly though I don't like this new image they are putting out..

Not judging by the reception at this show. The kids here just love anything with the wannabe goth look or a horror theme. The same kids will be into BVB as much as they will Zombie, Murderdolls, Slipknot and so on. The music itself is essentially irrelevant.

Yeah it's the first proper Murderdolls album seeing as the first one was all covers, but it's nowhere near as good. Wednesday wrote better songs pre-Murderdolls, and now he saves all his best ones for his solo albums.

They're a great live act. They're actually better than Wednesday solo live because he's confined to the mic stand when he plays solo and he needs to move about. But 'Skeletons', 'Casualties & Tragedies', hell even 'Highway to Hangovers' and 'Long Way To The Bottom' are better recent releases than the new 'dolls stuff.

'Casualties & Tragedies' was one of the best albums of 2009. 'Women & Children Last' was nowhere at the end of 2010.

It was a shame because the new songs were really letting the old stuff down.
