Children Of Bodom/Devin Townsend US Tour In July

In speaking of the Amon Amarth tour coming to America pretty soon. So is this tour.

From the same source as where I found out about Amon Amarth, Children Of Bodom will be bringing Devin Townsend on a US tour. Which Im happy to know will be hitting Minnesota *FUCKING FINALLY* in July.

No dates are confirmed, but it will be pretty much the whole month of July, give or takes weeks in June or August.

Any die hard Metal fan knows it should be Devin Townsend headlining over Children Of Bodom, but fuck it, I gotta see my hero live.

When ever Bodom deserves a higher spot...they don't get it. When they don't need to headline. They do. I don't get it

either way, would be cool to check out. If bodom plays more than the same 6 songs

would be really kickass to see Townsend.
To bad i couldn't see him with Strapping Young Lad..

Damn. I was really hoping for a Devin Townsend headlining tour this year. Not really a great combination of bands if you ask me, plus most people there probly won't appreciate the Dev.

Agreed. A lot of the Children of Bodom fans know nothing about metal (or good music for that matter), so they probably won't care for him. I'll definitely go to this tour though. I'm glad The Black Dahlia Murder isn't opening for them for a third time.

I think Bodom is more well known than Devin Townsend so it makes sense Bodom would headline.

Would love to see both again. No complaints here about Bodom headlining over Devin - while it's true that anything Devin has done absolutely smokes new Bodom, CoB are one of my favorite bands. It's true that a lot of the newer fans won't appreciate Dev, but any show where I can see two great bands together is a plus for me

The new COB album will probably be average at best, but I haven't seen them live since 2006, and the 2 times i've seen them, they put on a kick ass live show. If it hits up Toronto i'll go.
