Someone needs to explain to me the strategy and/or perceived payoff of releasing dates in bunches at a time, and also waiting so long to announce tour dates. Maybe I just don't get it because i'm not a tour manager or booking agent or marketing wizard, so please, any explanation is appreciated, because I think it's fucking retarded, and judging by this thread I don't think i'm alone.

I was somewhat surprised too but after Mayhem Fest nearly sold out it only makes sense they add a Pittsburgh date. I might go because now my little brother wants to go (who is 10 so it's no surprise he wants to go to this).

I've been trying. But when I was his age my favorite band was Linkin Park so I guess it's just something he'll outgrow.

At least you both started out young in metal.

Stay tuned for MORE cities, venues and ticket information coming July 5!
At least we don't have to wait quite as long for more dates. Hopefully it'll be the final announcement.
