I'd listen to it as I dig VR when they play heavier riffs, and I've always liked Taylor's melodic vocals. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

Shit, really? Definately a big change from Weiland. I quite like some of VR's stuff, so this should be interesting. I can't really imagine it, though.

Im just REALLY curious about this now. slash+corey taylor...has this ever happened before? I dont THINK so. but nonetheless, I think its a bit odd, but I personally dont mind it

Agreed. I just don't think the styles will mix well. but its worth a shot to see how it goes.

If they went for a slgihtly heavier, rawer, darker style of songs it could work well. Hell, with the GN'R and Slipknot/Stone Sour fan base it will sell well regardless.

I cant see this sounding good. Scot and coreys singing style are way different and i cant see Corey Taylor as a rock and roll singer.

Well he can do it. Listen to Stone Sour, especially their more commerical stuff like Bother, Looking Glass, Silly World, Scars, etc.
