Getting into age limit shows when your under age

Im seeing Gwar on sunday and it's a 16+ plus show. Thats no problem for me but im taking my little brother whos 14. Im worried that their going to ID at the show. My current plan is to have him use my older brothers blood donor card as ID since you have to be 16 to donate blood. I've never been to an age limit show and I dont know how strict they are with these rules. Anyone on here who has experience with this kind of situation help me out.

I think it depends on the venue. I remember getting into the House of Blues on multiple occasions without an ID, but I've heard stories about other places strictly enforcing the age limits. Either way, I don't think it will be a problem, because it's a 16+ show, not a 21+ show.

I remember I got my brother into an 18+ show when he was 15 by telling the door guy "Come on, dude." I don't see you having too much of a problem.

As long as it's not 21+, it's probably not legally enforced and therefore easy to circumvent.

The whole thing about it being only 16+ is pretty comforting, I think even if they do stop my bro a nice "come on dude" might work.

I just looked at the venue's website and found out something awesome. Anyone under 16 can enter as long as they are with someone older then 18. So I might have to enlist the help of someone over 18 which shouldn't be very difficult.
