Switch 3 and 6 and 5 and 7 on that BG list and that would be mine as well. That Stratovarius one is identical to what mine would be.

Another unabashed fan of 10,000 Days - I like it. That album gets entirely too much undeserved criticism. I love it.

I think my TOOL list would be the same as yours, but with #1 and #2 switched, though. Lateralus is just too damned perfect.

If you would have asked in me 2010 what my favorite Tool album is, Lateralus would have easily been on the top of that list simply for songs like Parabola and Lateralus. 10,000 Days though is one of those albums where I didn't really like it too much at first and then over time my love for it has just accelerated. I didn't like how slow some of the songs were, and it just didn't seem to have as much cohesion as Lateralus. I'm not really sure when my views of it changed- I think just one day it clicked and I started seeing the genius in the album. But yeah Lateralus is a very close second.

Undertow was one of those albums that I bought blindly back in the day. I'd never heard of Tool, saw their cassette cover in the music store and took a chance cause the cover looked cool. One of the few times that worked out positive for me

Oh I didn't forget I can tolerate some of Power Metal, but no thanks to their glam metal start.

I grew to like 10,000 Days more and more over the course of time as well, but I liked songs like "Jambi" and "The Pot" right from the jump. So good.

I bought Undertow because I liked "Sober" and "Prison Sex", and when I heard the rest of the album, I ended up liking the whole thing. The cover artwork is cool, too.

I'm opposite
I first got into Pantera (on my own, not radio) with a Best Of CD, but really didn't feel it. A while later I bought their actual CDs and really started to enjoy them more and more, but later grew out of them. But then, I saw the light.... I foud the 80s albums and fell in love . Its so bad and cheesy and goofy, but that makes it SOOOO awesome!

When I finally completed my 80s Pantera collection I was SO STOKED
