I guess I mostly like BG because they're power metal that doesn't sound gay, and so much of that album sounds so gay.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I read that. TFF and Tailgunner are more understandable but Different World is miles above Wildest Dreams, especially in the lyrics department.

Especially in the lyric department!?!? I like Different World, but lyrics have zero to do with why. "Tell me what you can hear and then tell me what you see/Everybody has a different way to view the world"? It's practically ripped straight from that hippie Coca-Cola commercial where everyone is holding hands.

If there's one thing separates Different World from all the other tunes in question, it's all in Adrian's outstanding guitar solo.

I love the lyrics, more so in the verses than the chorus.
Quote:
You lead me on the path
Keep showing me the way
I feel a little lost
A little strange today

I think I'll take a hold
Of whatever comes my way
Then we'll see what happens
Take it day by day

I thought I had it all
I had it all worked out
Just what my future held
That there would be no doubt

But then the card came up
And I took another turn
But I don't know if it's
Fulfillment that I yearn

Don't want to be here
Somewhere I'd rather be
But when I get there
I might find it's not for me

Don't want to be here
Somewhere I'd rather be
But when I get there
I might find it's not for me

Don't know what I want
Or where I want to be
Feeling more confused
The more the days go by
I can really relate to that, hell it was almost all I was thinking about in the week leading up to the AMOLAD release due to a personal issue that had a big impact on me. I still really relate to the feelings in this song today and I also enjoy the chorus about the world not being black and white. I like it much more than "taking the car and hitting the open road".

Oh, well, I love songs about hopping in the car and hitting the highway, and can usually relate to them pretty well because that's what I do when I'm feeling low.

Sadly gas gets way too pricey for me to do this.

That and the lyrics are way better than the other songs mentioned. Plus, the chorus to DW is so damn catchy it gets stuck in your head for days and is fun as hell to sing along with.
