Here's what's funny. The Gaslight Anthem, who plays right before them, has headlined both The Beaumont Club and the Midland Theater, and Pennywise was on the mainstage at Warped Tour and also played the Beaumont.

Bowling For Soup has only ever done the Jackpot.

Other way round here. Bowling For Soup are much bigger than Pennywise and Gaslight Anthem.

Next official announcement is expected next week, and the main booker has already stated a bunch of rumoured headliners are absolutely not playing. All the ones he listed are not on that poster (Ozzy, VH, Zombie, Green Day, Blink 182 etc.).

BFS have no business opening up for local bands @ The Riot Room. Even listening to mindless crap in high school I could never tolerate them. Oh to live in Europe.....

Is Within Temptation really big enough to have that slot in the lineup on the main stage? That suprises me a bit. I actually like them quite a bit but I thought they were pretty unknown outside of their home country.

Good lineup though if this is legit. I an pretty much going to guarantee Soundgarden will be there since they are clearly trying to build momentum toward a full US tour by playing festivals and what not to let people know they are around and more importantly that Chris's voice has made a bit of a miraculous recovery. I'm thinking the US tour for Soundgarden will be late summer/fall 2011. Thats just my hunch.

I bet if Metallica is headlining we will get a very interesting setlist from them since they are done with the Death Magnetic tour.
