I've gotten into Accept a good bit recently, and I missed Overkill when they were here last week, so I hope this comes close.

Man, I would definitely catch this show. I was disappointed that I missed Overkill this year so I was hoping that I could catch them next year. And getting to see Accept again would be excellent.

I wonder who would headline this show? I would think that Accept would headline but that site lists Accept and Sabaton as support to Overkill?

A weird lineup? It's old school heavy metal + old school thrash metal + new-ish power metal band that doesn't suck. Seems pretty good to me.

I was just commenting that it was a strange lineup, not that it was necessarily a bad one.

Awesome! Had to pass on Overkill twice this year but the lineups weren't too great. Now I might get to see them with a great lineup, please keep it at these 3 bands.

Definitely don't really got the comments about this being a weird lineup. I mean given the scope of the genre, these 3 bands don't sit too far apart from eachother. Accept definitely kinda bridges the gap between Overkill and Sabaton. And while Sabaton are classified as "power metal", they are NO doubt among the more aggressive, straight-forward, and traditional styled bands around in the genre today.

I would expect the show to run like this:
Sabaton playing like 40 or 45 minutes as the definite opener. Accept or Overkill could probably headline - based on seeing them both, I'd say they're doing about equally these days, and both coming off of really strong and well received records. I'd say no matter who is the headliner, the other band is gonna play like 70+ minutes.

This. This lineup makes a hell of a lot of sense to me.

This line-up makes more sense than teaming Accept with King's X.

I'm sure many power metal bands were influenced by the double-bass and twin guitar attack of Fast as a Shark.
