Mayhem Fest updated 1-15-11

At the NAMM convention being held in California this weekend Machine Head frontman Rob Flynn apparently told a fan that his band will be on the mainstage of the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. There have been rumors of the band playing the festival and with this new information we can verify they will be playing. The Mayhem Festival line up is shaping up like this:

Main Stage:
Godsmack
Disturbed
Megadeth
Machine Head

Jager/Silver Star Stages:
In Flames
Kingdom of Sorrow
Suicide Silence
Unearth

Half of the threads posted here would have to be moved there. Info will be here in less than 2 months, I say let her ride it out...

Yeah this is mostly speculation. I think you're a pretty reliable source (you just called the Korn/Disturbed tour a week ahead of time, not to mention some tours last summer), and you word everything correctly so that it doesn't sound like you're making up rumors though.
I think Wolverine makes up for a couple people on this board. I'm not saying any names, I'm just saying Disturbed's latest album and a certain South American band/sex position.
By the way, why won't LOG be on this tour? Headlining summer tour or in another package/festival?

I would go for all these bands if the line up is true.

I hope this lineup is true, that means we get one of the rare festival where most of the bands are good or tolerable.

Okay okay, out of the bands, this is who I'd want to see:

SOAD
Megadeth
Rammstein

As I Lay Dying
Down
GWAR

And every one of the side stage bands except that faggot from KSE's band

People have been talking about that for the last month or so. I'm not trying to take anything away from WOLVERINEKILLS, but information on that wasn't too hard to find. He wasn't the first one to call that.

I knew Disturbed was doing MAAW with Sevendust. I knew Korn was going to tour but kudos to BBM for figuring out Korn was on MAAW.

I am certainly not the be all end all of heavy music news but I do try to share with my friends on this site.

As for Mayhem, I think it will look like this:

SOAD or Disturbed
Godsmack
Deftones
All That Remains
As I Lay Dying or Gwar
Trivium
Arch Enemy
Skeletonwitch
