I must admit, I am INSANELY surprised. I figured they'd be super pretentious and douchey, that's a nice thing to hear

I didn't personally talk to him, because fuck Emmure. But I had a couple of buddies say Frankie Palmeri was actually a really nice guy. Which I find hilarious

John Pettibone, vocalist of (or formerly of, since they broke up) Himsa is a really cool guy! He works the door at one of the venues here in Seattle and just a really cool nice down to Earth guy. A lot of times venues get a bit dickish when you don't sell the amount of tickets they want you to sell, but Pettibone was always cool when I'd tell him the amount, or lack of, that we sold.

Nergal from Behemoth is very awesome, will have an actual conversation with you. Everyone else in Behemoth are silent and never really pose for a photo.

Martin van Drunen was very welcoming and held a conversation with me about Manilla Road at MDF. Tomas Lindberg was also very nice, hanging out with lots of people watching Incantation.

Good:

James Malone and Noah Martin of Arsis - Both incredibly nice guys, fun to talk to and smoke cigarettes with.

Joe and Mario Duplantier of Gojira - Mario said Joey Jordison does too many drugs to be a good drummer.

Karl Sanders of Nile - Came up onto the stage once my band was finished playing, shook all of our hands and said "You guys were fucking incredible." Pretty awesome.

Fleshgod Apocalypse - All the dudes were super nice.

Not Necessarily Bad:

Michael Keene of The Faceless - After his set, me and my friend saw him walking to his tour bus and I called out to him saying "Hey Michael your set was fucking sick!" I guess my friend had said something similar at the same time and Michael looked at us and said "I CANT HEAR WHEN YOU BOTH TALK AT THE SAME TIME!" and walked off lol. Granted he looked pretty pissed off before we shouted at him.

Corey of Trivium - Me and a group of my friends saw Corey in the halls of some venue. My friend shouted "Hey Corey come smoke weed with us!" And Corey turned and looked at him for a minute giving him just the most confused look and then said "No!" super quickly. He then turned right back around and start chatting with some kids or something lol.

Nice! I know we've met, but I forgot what band you were in (oh wait, maybe I am confusing you with a different North Westerner on here... not many of us on here lol)

When we opened for Nile last year one of my guitarists asked Karl if he'll be playing a certain guitar that he REALLY liked, Karl said "no" but offered to go onto their bus and grab it to let my guitarist look at it. That was pretty cool
