Met John Myung when I saw Dream Theater last week. Really nice guy, and quiet as his reputation has him. Just a humble, appreciative fellow.

I can easily say that Nicko McBrain is one of the most fun, entertaining, and nice people that I've ever met. He spent a ton of time interacting with the fans before, during, and after the drum clinic and he seemed very sincere and appreciative about people coming out to see him and supporting his music. I'll do a full write up as a gig report later.

I never contributed to this thread so I thought better late then never.

Awesome:

Five Finger Death Punch- I met these guy's just as they started to get big and they were all really cool allowed me and my friends to take pictures with them. Though I am not a big fan of them anymore they were all pretty cool.

Shadows Fall- Met these guy's at Mayhem Fest and at the time I didn't realize but I bought a shirt from their merch tent and it was one of their guitar players so when I got in the line and met them i felt dumb I didn't recognize him. They were cool the line wasn't very long so they chatted with everyone and took pictures and signed whatever.

Machine Head- Very cool guys to talk to especially Robb he listens and will have an actual conversation with you. He was very appreciative that eevryone hing around to talk to them. Too bad my damn camera on my phone was broke or I would have a pretty sweet picture with them.

Psychostick- Met these guys after their set at a local fest and got my ticket signed by them. These guy's were some of the funniest guy's I have ever met all shaking our hands the drummer gave me a hug also congratulated us on becoming a green state.

Trevor Of TBDM- This guy is seriously the nicest most humble person I have ever met. I met him after a show back in October and had a 30 minute conversation with him that included anything from Weed to touring to Music in general.

I can't say I have met any dicks yet.

Forgot to mention Lance King. He was running a merch booth at last year's ProgPower. Friendly guy, got a picture with him.

Wow it's been a while since I've talked about some of the bands I've met since I saw The Ocean:

Cynic- one of the 3 best experiences of My life.

3- Same as above.

Last Chance To Reason- All really cool guys and new friends of mine.

Hannes Grossmann of Obscura- Very Humble and great to talk to.

Trivium- Very cool guys and talkative about anything. Really cool to see.

Kyng- Humble, down to earth guys.

Blood Ceremony- Very, very cool people. Had some great conversations with 3/4th of the band.

Landphil (Municipal Waste)- Really cool to talk with, gave me a bit of a heads up of some upcoming events in Richmond that had not been announced at that point.

John Kevill (Warbringer)- Extremely nice to talk to, took a picture with me 4 times until we finally got one that had some light.
