I have an Audio bootleg of this show, and they did Miles Away after The Morphine Child.

Also, why the fuck couldn't I be a few years older so I could've seen this?

Edit: Also, my bootleg doesn't have Of Rage and War, and has "Awaken" instead of "Drive". Interesting.

Jesus. Who was singing on this? I'd be suprised if it was Zak since this was post Poets and Madmen, but they are doing alot of Zak material here so I'm kinda confused.

This was the US Touring lineup for the Poets tour:

Jon Oliva - Keyboards, Vocals
Damon Jiniya - Vocals (Zak's songs)
Chris Caffery - Guitar
Jack Frost - Guitar
Johnny Lee Middleton - Bass
Jeff Plate - Drums

Ah singer from Diet of Worms. He's a very good singer. Wish I had seen them on that tour

That is a killer setlist.
I know at the Aurora, IL stop of this tour, there were maybe a whopping 50 people there, from what I heard. I was not there.

I remember all the drama when they booted Jack Frost to bring back Al Pitrelli. Jack got all offended, thinking he was more deserving. It's like, "Dude, you are a decent guitarist, but come on. You were a hired gun"

Birch hill

I was at this show with the Mountain King and it fucking rocked! I can still remember Jon introducing Morphine Child and telling us that it was the longest song they ever wrote. Some things just stay with us and that moment for some reason stick in my head. Miss these guys, wish they would stop fucking around and do another tour.
By the way really miss the birch hill!!!!!!!!!
