NBA Europe Live 2010: London

Minnesota Timberwolves 111 - 92 Los Angeles Lakers

Top scorers Martell Webster (Wolves) 24, Michael Beasley (Wolves) 21, Lamar Odom (Lakers) 17.

And best of all: Kobe Bryant (Lakers) 0 points from 6 minutes of game time at the start of the 1st. 0 for 2 from three-point range and 0 for 3 from inside. Barely even noticed he was there, literally.

Cool, and in no way indicative of the season ahead.

Get pumped for those regular season games though. Even if it is awful teams, the atmosphere is that much better when something is on the line.

Haha, yeah I know. Apparently Jackson had only planned to use his starters for the first 8 minutes or so, then dependent on the run of the game after that. Odom played a decent amount, but the others didn't. Lots of glory-hunting Lakers fans who didn't get to see much of Kobe. That was pretty funny.

There were, as you'd expect, no Wovles fans there. But plenty of people wearing jerseys from other teams who just wanted to see the Lakers lose

Some people had t-shirts which said "Laker Hater". Those I liked

You don't get much anti-Lebron stuff here. To be honest we're far enough removed from it all that the superstars are automatically the most popular.

Except Kobe, who really does have some haters.

I would have smiled from ear to ear if there were anti-LeBron shirts in Europe.
