Hmm, short set. Symptom of too many opening bands? And I bet a few people found that a pretty unaccessible set as well. Just the one Maiden song and nothing from the first two Blaze albums... the hits fiends won't have been pleased

I skipped this one as he hasn't done another album since last time I saw him at the Underworld. I notice he's already booked next year's London show at the Underworld for May. I'll probably go to that one.

I don't consider myself a "hits fiend", but I do consider the first two Blaze albums to be by far the best. He's far enough along in his solo career to do no Maiden songs and build a great set. But nothing from the first two records is moronic in my opinion.

I agree. He should be hitting all of his solo albums with at least one song each. If he's got room in the set for 'Ten Seconds', he can find room for a track each from the first two.

I don't know what the problem was but the doors opened 55mins late so everyone trimmed their sets. I understand Blaze Bayley had to cut 30mins from his, so there may have been Blaze era songs planned originally. Personally I prefer his last two albums so I was happy with that and the crowd certainly didn't seem disappointed.

and the lack of stare at the sun is disappointing, best Blaze song IMO

Glad I didn't bother going then. Especially with that support bill.

The lack of songs from the other Blaze albums would be my only problem. I could do without any of the Maiden songs.
