Yusuf Islam is playing Peace Train with The Roots backing, and Ozzy and Gus G are busting in with Crazy Train also backed by The Roots.

So awesome.

I missed the WHOLE FUCKING THING because my cable company listed it at the wrong time, so by the time I thought it was coming on it was already over. So fucking pissed.

I was watching it. I was kinda pissed that you couldn't hear Gus's guitar at all.

But overall it was a pretty cool show. The Roots' set at the beginning was really good.

It was really fantastic, the 90% of it I caught anyway. Of course, the 10% I didn't included the Ozzy/Gus appearance.

The Roots were fantastic with John Legend, the "No One More American Than Me" song was wonderful, the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar appearance ruled, and all the tender patriotic bits like the national anthem, America the Beautiful and Stewart's closing speech were beautiful. Jon and Stephen did good.

I missed a lot of it. But what I did get to see was pretty badass.

I'm hoping the do a repeat of some kind soon.
