WITCHAVEN - TERRORSTORM

Nah, I guess Ironbound. Definitely don't get the hype behind the new Heathen.

Edit: Oh wait, my vote definitely goes to Hammerlord - Wolves At Wars End

Difficult... I'll either vote Heathen, Death Angel or Angelus Apatrida... There are loads of others too... I will ponder this.

Definitely Overkill. If you like thrash and I mean really really like thrash, it's the only choice. The Heathen album, while a technically superior album, sounds sterile and is absolutely no fun. The Death Angel album just doesn't stack up either and is a distant third. So really the only choice is the best album in about 20 years from the genre's unwavering flag-bearers.

You talk like those are the only three good thrash albums to be released this year.

Voted for Overkill because it's a really good album, but I haven't heard the others. Actually, I haven't heard any other thrash albums this year. And as good as Ironbound is, it won't even sniff my top ten. I think I just don't like thrash that much anymore.
