Suffocation -- New York, NY -- October 16th, 2010

Short review. Tired. Doors were at 6.

Suppressed Theory was first band. Not bad. 6.5/10 No set.

Fleshgod Apocalypse were really good. 7.5/10. Set got cut because of time restraints.
In Honour Of Reason
Sophistic Demise
Embodied Deception
Blinded By Fear
Thru Our Scars
Requiem In Si Minore (were about to play it but power got cut.)

Decrepit Birth was awesome. Might be missing one song. 8/10
Shroud Of Impurity
The Infestation
Diminishing Between Worlds
Metatron
Symbiosis

Through The Eyes of The Dead. Amazing 9.5/10
As Good As Dead
No Haven
Perpetual Defilement
Pull The Trigger
Dementia
Failure of The Flesh

The Faceless. 3rd time seeing them, amazing as always. 10/10
Planetary Duality I : Hideous Revelation
Planetary Duality II : A Prophecies Fruition
Shape Shifters
Coldly Calculated Design
Xenochrist
Pestilence
New Song (The Ottoman Reality)
An Autopsy
The Ancient Covenant

Suffocation. Finally got to see them. They were awesome. Might be missing a song but they're all in order. 9.5/10
Thrones of Blood
Suspended In Tribulation
Liege of Inveracity
Cataclysmic Purification
Bind Torture Kill
Blood Oath
Pierced from Within
Effigy of the Forgotten
Come Hell or High Priest (I think)

That's fucked up.

Also, not a big fan of them putting a cover in their set when it's such a small time slot, even if the cover is of an awesome song. And not having Retrieving my Carcass is fail.

The Suffocation set is awesome. The inclusion of Souls to Deny is pretty cool.

Fleshgod opened with In Honour Of Reason, they didn't play Conspiracy Of Silence. And Decrepit Birth played Shroud Of Impurity, Diminishing Between Worlds, and The Resonance. They didn't play The Living Doorway.

Just so you know, they didn't play Souls to Deny, the song in that slot was Funeral Inception. I really wanted to gear Demise of the Clone, but, I guess I'll just have to wait until next time.
