The show was unbelievably awesome! And part of the allure to me was how intimate the setting was. When he hopped off stage and went up to the bar -- that was very fitting.
The man is an excellent showman, that's for sure. How he talked to the audience, dealt with little technical glitches, that sort of thing -- very cool. If you don't come away from seeing this show as a bigger fan than you were before, I'd be very surprised.
I personally really liked the first band. I was expecting a crappy bar band (not that there's anything wrong with crappy bar bands) but right off the bat I was impressed with how tight they were and how professional they sounded. Obviously they're not a big touring band, but they performed far better than I expected.

The UK band on tour with Devin was also quite good. I thoroughly enjoyed their set and was impressed, too. My understanding is they'll be touring along with DTP for the duration of the tour. Worth seeing, IMHO.
