If you HAVE the money, the cost of the cab shouldn't stop you from going to the show if you want to see the show badly enough. If the show was in your neighbor's house but cost $90 to get in, would you go? If the answer is yes, pay for a cab.

Not trying to be funny, but you might want to see a therapist about that. There's probably some underlying issue there, and if you don't resolve it, its only going to compound itself as you get older, and you'll be 45 looking for rides.

Yes, cabs can be expensive but it's usually unavoidable when you don't drive. You're gonna need them sometimes to get places.

Also, I agree with what Derelict said. You should seriously look into the phobia you have about driving. It'll become a pain in the ass for you and maybe others in your life as well, if you always gotta rely on some other means of transportation to get you somewhere. Not driving because you can't afford a car is one thing but not driving because of some fear you have is a serious issue.

Oh, I did see a therapist about it and nothing they did was able to help it at all.

Also, I find it hard to believe that there's NO ONE on here from St. Paul who drives and is planning to go to the show. Unless there is someone who just doesn't want to help me.

Not that hard to believe really..Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone from Dallas posts here, and I believe Dallas has a bigger population than St. Paul.

Fonzie, how long have you been a member on this board? A year and a half now which is the same as me. You should know by now weather there are any regular posters on this board who live in your area.

Also, even if there is a board member from your area who's going why do they or should they have to help you out at all? It's not their responsibility to get you to a show. If you buy a ticket to see a band you should have a means of trasportation already worked out if you don't drive.

Don't go saying stuff like "someone doesn't want to help me" and put the blame on someone else as to why you can't get to a show.
