So people still consider AIC grunge? They're a metal band if i've ever heard one. Their riffs are very Sabbath like so how is that grunge and not metal?

Not that I disagree that "grunge" is clearly a totally fabricated genre... but AIC's riffs are absolutely not Sabbath-like.

Neither is King's X. I think he was intentionally leaving it open-ended... including both Progressive Rock and Metal.

How can you have a grunge list without Nirvana? I understand this is one of those "your list" things but c'mon. I know they get a lot of hate but they are hands down one of the big 4 of grunge.
