Dio At Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987 DVD

Due on November 9 through Ronnie and Wendy's company Niji Entertainment. It will be a double-disc set, with Dio's 1983 Monsters of Rock show on disc one, and the 1987 show on disc 2. Apparently it will also include laminates from each show.

Tracklist:

Disc 1 (1983)
'Stand Up and Shout'
'Straight Through The Heart'
'Children Of The Sea'
'Rainbow In The Dark'
'Holy Diver'
- drum solo -
'Stargazer'
- guitar solo -
'Heaven And Hell'
'Man On The Silver Mountain'
'Starstruck'
'Evil Eyes'

Disc 2 (1987)
'Dream Evil'
'Neon Knights'
'Naked In The Rain'
'Rock 'N' roll Children'
'Long Live Rock 'N Roll'
'Rock 'N Roll Children' (reprise)
'The Last In Line'
'Holy Diver'
'Heaven And Hell'
'Man On The Silver Mountain'
'All The Fools Sailed Away / The Last In Line'
'Rainbow In The Dark'

I was hoping Wendy would put out the planned archive material through Niji. The best way to remember Ronnie is by putting out all the previously unreleased stuff, I think.

No Sunset Superman? Goddammit. I was hoping we'd finally get a version of that song without 32 bars of the chorus repeating ad nauseam to put on our ipods.

Also, why did Dio end with Evil Eyes so much in 1983?

There are boots of the Dream Evil tour online if you really wanna hear Sunset Superman live. Dio repeating the title a lot made for a good crowd sing along live. Needless to say, I will be getting this when it comes out. Or maybe ask for it for christmas.
