Devin Townsend -- Seattle, WA -- October 10th, 2010

To sum it up we drove 8 hours from Montana, it was well worth the drive. Opening band were some local guys called Saving Grace(or something) who at first I was a little excited for because the bassist and rhythm guitar player looked metal as shit, but wound up playing angsty teen rock Trivium esque music. It was shit.
Then there was Tesseract. Who I'd never heard of, but they had excellent use of time signature chugs... but the vocalist sort of sounded too much like he belonged in a screamo band for me.
Anyways... Devin Townsend:
Addicted
Supercrush
Kingdom
Deadhead
Truth
Om
By Your Command
Life
Gaia
Pixilated
Bad Devil
----
Color Your World
The Greys
---
Deep Peace

He was amazing, one of the best shows I've ever been too. We waited for 2 hours after the show in the Seattle rain to meet him, I'd recommend it. He is an extremely charismatic person.

Awesome! Thanks. Now I can fill in the blanks on my Van setlist. Though, while looking up the titles, I found nothing about a song called "Pixelated" =S. Elaborate?

This was such an amazing set from Devin, first time seeing him and I really hope he comes around again soon.

I missed the first two bands since my friends and I were out "Party Vanning".

I loved when Devin jumped off stage and ran up to the bar, that was so awesome. Here are a few [crappy cell phone] pictures that I and my friend got. (hope they show up)

and one of my friends with her better camera.

I totally forgot he got rid of the skullet.

Can't wait for the MA date in a few weeks. Pretty good set, but really I'm just glad to be seeing Devin again at all.

Do any of you dudes know if he is going to change songs up during this tour or stick to this? No Ki songs is also surprising.

He has so many songs to choose from...crossing my fingers for Earth Day and Bastard.
