Ozzfest -- Hartford, CT -- August 21st, 2010
Ozzy Osbourne:
Bark At The Moon Let Me Hear You Scream Mr. Crowley I Don't Know Fairies Wear Boots Suicide Solution Road To Nowhere Into The Void Shot in the Dark Guitar Solor/Band Jam/Rat Salad Iron Man Killer Of Giants Fearless I Don't Want to Change The World Crazy Train Mama I'm Coming Home Paranoid Motley Crue: Kickstart My Heart Wild Side Shout at the Devil Saints Of Los Angeles Looks That Kill Live Wire Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) Same Ol' Situation Home Sweet Home Motherfucker Of The Year Helter Skelter Primal Scream Dr. Feelgood Girls, Girls, Girls Halford: Ressurection ? ? Nailed To The Gun ? Dropout Made Of Metal Cyberworld Heart Of A Lion Never Satisfied I know two of the missing songs are Crystal and Made In Hell, I'm not sure about the third. The show kicked ass. Goatwhore didn't play because one of the members was hurt bad (according to the merch guy).

Words can't even express how jealous I am of the people getting this Ozzy set! Plus you get Gus G! When I saw him (which was still awesome, as it's Ozzy afterall) a few years ago on the Black Rain tour, we got:
I Don’t Wanna Stop Crazy Train Suicide Solution Mr. Crowley Road To Nowhere Into the Void Bark at the Moon -15 minute Guitar Solo- I Don't Know Here For You I Don't Want to Change the World ----- Mama, I’m Coming Home Paranoid Again, was cool when I saw it... But damn! |

Yeah I was bummed that Goatwhore cancelled. Honestly, the majority of the show wasn't all that great, partly due to the massive amount of smelly, dirty, white trash fucks. Ozzy was by far the best of the day. I was honestly shocked by how good he was. Fairies Wear Boots and Shot in the Dark were amazing. Gus really brings so much more life to the band, and Tommy did an excellent job on the drums. The whole Rat Salad jam was definately a highlight. Crue and Halford did great as well, but Ozzy smoked them all. Amazing set.

Shit, Helter Skelter in the Crue setlist? Be really neat to get that on Tuesday, but I'm not liking that it's replacing 10 Seconds to Love. Either one would be cool, though, so I won't complain either way.
Sucks that Goatwhore had to cancel. Wonder if they'll play in MA. |

I don't agree, I thought the show was pretty good. I agree the scum that inhabited the grounds were quite bothersome, but I mostly just found them to be comic relief (purposely agreeing with two older gentlemen going on about how "dikes and dicks do not mix" was a highlight). And i thought the pits were pretty good, there were a lot of assholes and apparently a lot of unnecessary fights and cheap shots (i.e. my fucked up arms and sprained wrist and my friend's split open mouth), I would much prefer having to deal with crap like that then the oversaturation of hardcore kiddies and faggots looking who's main motivation for attendance was nothing more than to start fights and beat up kids.

Bullshit. They didn't play Into The Void. I don't believe it.
