Great Show. Setlist and Scores right now Review later. I didn't stay for Decapitated

I'm guessing Cephalic Carnage opened with Hybrid.

Looks like The Faceless are keeping their longer set for the rest of the tour.

I was there. What a fucking killer show.
I actually left before Decapitated, too. I live about an hour away and I can't drive past 12:30, so I left early just in case getting home took longer than expected.

It seems like I'm the only one who thought The Faceless sucked live. Nevermind that I think their albums suck, that's beside the point. Their performance seemed so empty to me.

I went to the Raleigh date and it was well worth the money. I'm still trying to decide who put on the best show between Decapitated, Decrepit Birth, and Vital Remains, with Cephalic Carnage in a close second. The Faceless, The Red Chord, and Animals as Leaders were great too. All Shall Perish were decent, but they sound better in studio. Veil of Maya were okay, nothing special. Carnifex were definitely the nadir of this years Summer Slaughter, and were probably just added to attract scene kids and bromagnons. They were the only band on the lineup who didn't seem to know what a guitar lead was.
