Nice! For me would be to go back in time and see Savatage on all their tours up until 1993.

Yes, but I was just trying to pick the year I think would've been the best to see them in terms of what setlist they would've done. Plus, with HOTMK, GB and Streets they were on the biggest wave of popularity in their career at that point so it would've been cool to see them when they had a lot of fans respect.

Of course the question reamins that if you went back and saw them then would you warn Criss of what was gonna happen to him two years later and alter the course of history? Or would you just leave it alone and let fate take it's course? I would try to warn him, he would probably think I was crazy though

I hear so much stuff about how people's lives were changed seeing Pantera in the 90's. That would just be incredible; I would love to have seen that.

I would've loved to see some of my favorite bands when they were young, and not as popular, playing in small venues:

Lamb of God, around 2003 with the release of ATPB
Mastodon, around 2002 or 2003 when they put out Remission
Opeth, right after the release of Blackwater Park and their first real US tour
Necrophagist, around 2000-2001 when they first came to the US and everyone then realized that there are gods amongst men

and Death, Carcass, yadda yadda yadda...

I'm gonna second Wizzbang on the early 80s DK, and throw in some late 70s Clash for good measure.

Just remembered that Maiden and My Dying Bride toured together when the X-Factor and The Angel and the Dark River were new. That would have been an amazing, depressing night.
